Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)

Who: Individuals interested in purchasing locally grown high quality meat products on a monthly basis

What: An assortment of farm fresh products including any assortment of beef, pork, lamb and chicken. Also may occasionally include rabbit, duck or goat. Monthly basket will include 5 to 7 different items worth a total of $60. Product will include anything from whole chickens and beef steaks to breakfast sausage and hamburgers.

Where: Product baskets will be delivered the second Wednesday of the month to one of these three locations you specify:

• Downtown Farm Stand 66 E Randolph St Chicago, IL 60602

• Branch 27 Restaurant 1371 West Chicago Ave Chicago, IL 60642

• SugarToad 2139 CityGate Lane Naperville, IL 60563

When: Deliveries will be made on Wednesday evening. Please try to take your products home on Thursday to avoid congestion problems in the coolers.

Why: So we can offer the same high quality products our chef customers use in their restaurants to families for use at home.

How: Sign up for this service by filling in your information on the sign up sheet provided. Or email us at slagelmeats@live.com.

Cost: CSA baskets are $60 each. If you sign up between the months January to May your subscription will go through June and if you sign up between the months June to November you subscription will go through December. Once your subscription is up it will automatically be renewed for another six month period unless you notify us prior that you wish to discontinue. Every month we will send out an email notifying you of what is going to be included in your order and we will also notify you a month in advance of when your subscription will renew. We plan to do all payments via credit cards to keep things simple. We will contact you after we get everyone signed up to get your payment information in our system. We will charge a one month subscription at a time.
